A handsome wood bar is a welcome refuge from bustling Atlantic Avenue. A piano man adds to the ambience with an array of tunes. Floor to ceiling billowing white drapes and a deep rich atmosphere.
Begin with a basket filled of some addictive crispy pita style chips with a hint of spice and a cold dip of home made hummus or lentils and rice. Chef Milan’s grilled skirt steak strips in a succulent brown sauce was almost like a doctored up sauce chasseur – absolutely delicious. You have to try the mouthwatering tender lobster and shrimp enveloped in French-style crepes. Then again, the juicy, sensational Chilean Sea Bass cooked to perfection is a must. Finish off with Dagmar’s delectable home made apple strudel.
Sonoma Café’s wine list boasts a large array of fine wines. Inside dining, patio dining for people watching, courtyard dining for more intimate romantic dinner under the stars. Reservations highly recommended – this popular little restaurants is just growing and growing. If you haven’t been yet – you need to put it on your list of things to do.
